Review of Policies and Standards

Each year, the ABHE Commission on Accreditation reviews a portion of the ABHE Policies and
Standards for Accreditation. This year the focus of the review was on Comprehensive Standards #1, #9, and #10.
Public Comment was called for earlier for comments on these standards, and the Commission has proposed changes to the standards based
on those comments. In addition, the Commission is proposing changes to the Policy on Changes to the Commission's Policies,
Procedures, and Standards, and a new Policy Relating to Conflicts of Interest.
Member institutions and the public are invited to submit proposals for the refinement of these Policies and Standards using the comment box found below. Please note that to facilitate this process, the Standards have been reproduced in their entirety.
